Features and Benefits - Status Reporting 
With xpdoffice, reporting the status of daily tasks is extremely easy. You can certainly enter only time, but it is always very simple to enter a status or progress report right there as you record the hours worked. Depending on your organization's requirements, status (or progress) can be recorded daily, weekly - whenever. And once the status has been submitted, it is permanently attached to those hours, forever associated with that pay period's timesheet. (Status can be edited throughout the pay cycle, according to what specific preferences have been set by your system administrator.)
Status notations can be attached to each individual task assigned to an employee and will be included in status reports as they are called for in the xpdreports module. This information is especially useful to managers who need to know what kind of work has been accomplished on a specific project for the hours spent, and helps them create realistic projections of what future timelines should be. It removes the guesswork for managers when they need to be accountable. And with xpdoffice, that accountability can be instant. Managers can provide up-to-the-second reliability.
Daily status reports can be assembled for every employee assigned to a project, and when filtered through the xpdproject module, can be sanitized and made available to clients who have their own special "customer" designation allowing access to daily status reports and whatever other reports your organization deems necessary.
